Our Journey
1964
Founded by John Jenkins, focusing on building Thunderbird sailboats and wooden fishing vessels in View Royal.
1970s
Expanded services to include fibreglass and gelcoat repairs, catering to a growing local demand.
1976
Established Don's Boat Transport, providing reliable transportation for vessels up to 50 feet.
1980s
Introduced engine repair and vessel haul-out services, enhancing our comprehensive marine offerings.
1985
Ventured into dock construction and commercial vessels, multiple Government jobs, Coast Guard, and Navy.
2000s
Launched the Seawest Boats line, delivering custom-built 24′ sports fishing vessels tailored to individual needs.
Today
Continuing our legacy with a dedicated team, offering a full suite of marine services while embracing innovation and maintaining our family-oriented approach.
